The *Imo State* chapter of the *African Democratic Congress (ADC)* has firmly dismissed recent rumours suggesting the existence of factions within the party, insisting that the ADC in Imo State remains *one united, indivisible, and disciplined political family.*
In a statement issued on Monday by the *ADC National Vice Chairman (South-East), Sir Bon Unachukwu*, the party reaffirmed *Professor James Okoroma* as the only duly recognised and *legitimate State Chairman* of the ADC in Imo State.
Unachukwu explained that the *national leadership of the ADC* had clearly directed that all party activities, official communications, and engagements within the state must be conducted solely under the supervision of *Professor Okoroma* and the *State Working Committee* led by him.
The *national leadership* wishes to make it abundantly clear that there is *no faction whatsoever in the Imo ADC,* Unachukwu stated. We therefore urge the public, party members, and the media to *disregard any unauthorised statements* or activities coming from individuals or groups not recognised by the national leadership.
The ADC restated its *unwavering commitment* to unity, transparency, and internal democracy, both in Imo State and across Nigeria, stressing that it will continue to stand as a model of credible and people centered political engagement.
