Ijanikin DPO Extols Main Odan Era CDA




The Divisional Police Officer in Ijanikin, Lagos, Yinka Opadokun, has expressed deep sense of commitment and raised kudos to  main Odan Era Community Development Association, for being Technology complaint in ensuring security of it's landlord and residents. 
The community has installed CCTV cameras in and around the CDA to enhance it's security arrangements. 

The DPO who was invited to commission the project, in his address to the people of the area said  community policing and the need to cooperate to secure their area.
 
He promising the total support of the Police in this regard. 
In his own speech at the occassion, The Chairman of the CDA, Hon Kehinde Soaga expressed amazement at the DPOs prompt attention and deep sense of commitment to service as he was invited at short notice and took time to be conducted round the CDA.

 Soaga said this is unprecedented and a pride to the police force. 
Rtd Lt. Commander N. Kasali, the Vice Chairman and other key executives held a security meeting with the DPO on further development plans for the Area.

After the tour of the entire environment, the DPO advised on strategic policing giving the community suggestion and Idea of where they should locate their security Post and command centre etc.

 The Community plans to Invite the LCDA chairman, Hon. Kareem Azeez Abiodun for the ground breaking of the Community meeting base and control base for the CCTV cameras.

 The CDA has opened up the initiative and DPO advised other communities to follow this CCTV initiatives for security watch over their environment to complement the Nigerian Police.
