Oodua People’s Congress reformed Leader, Ambassador Oludare Adesope has sends his heartfelt commiserations to the people and government of Ogun State on the death of the Awujale, the Paramount Ruler of Ijebuland Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona.
Adesope recalls that the Awujale was a towering cultural figure and a symbol of loẹe, honour, and respect whose reign marked a significant shift in royal leadership.
The late Awujale who led his people for more than six decades joins his ancestors in the late hours on Sunday.
The OPC boss, Adesope commiserates with Governor Dapo Abiodun, the people of Ijebu, and the immediate family of the late Monarch.
He urges them to be comforted by the undiluted legacies of the late Awujale, and prays to Allaah to admit him to al-jannah Firdaus as he is laid to rest today.
