Ogun NNPP urges parents to consciously train their children in the way of the Lord

 

The New Nigeria Peoples Party, Ogun State chapter, had urged parents to train their children in the way of the Lord because is the only legacy they own them apart from education.

 

In a press release sent by Hon Comrade Omokehinde Olowu, the state publicity Secretary, on behalf of the party for the celebration of the  ‘Children’s Day’ which comes up every May 27, he said that they are the bright futute we are looking forward to and every one of them will fulfil their destiny.

 

He also stated that ‘’ As good as these technological devices are they could however be potentially dangerous to our children in terms of ‘content’. We therefore have a responsibility to keep our children focused at all times and also give them a better alternative to what the world has to offer’’.

 

Olowu said that we must understand that children copy a lot, so we cannot afford to do the same things we don’t want them to emulate, but to lay a good example for them.

 

‘’Remember that children can be tempted to indulge in unwholesome activities when there is no one around to guide them, so make time for them in spite of your busy schedule. He prayed that May you work hard and grow up to become good and happy souls in your life’’
