God will answer our prayer one day- Ambassador Ajadi Oguntoyibo

A Nigerian humanitarian and politician, Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, has sent a message of felicitations to Christians as they celebrate Christmas, urging them to continue to pray for the best

He also urged the government to rise up to the responsibility of fixing the economy as a way of making life better for the masses.

Ajadi spoke from the United Kingdom, where he had been in the last five days, challenging Nigerian governments to borrow from the compassionate disposition of Jesus Christ, whose birth the Christmas commemorates

According to him, the season throws a challenge to public office holders in the country to seek to make life better for the people just as Jesus Christ did when he walked the earth.

The Ogun State gubernatorial candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) in the last election bemoaned the increased suffering of Nigerians amidst plenty, moralising on those in positions of authority to please think compassion for people even as they execute their daily offices.

“If there is one message I have for the Nigerian government at Christmas, it is to please be compassionate with the people; it is to think about people, the masses as they execute their duties.

“It is obvious that things have become even more Challenging in the country. The masses are suffering in the midst of plenty.

Let the government please try and make life better for the masses.

“I appeal to the masses themselves not to relent from prayer.

I am optimistic that God will one day answer our prayers and enable good people, politicians who have the interest of the masses at heart to come to the place of rulership, then and only then,we will rejoice”.
He reiterated that God had generously blessed the country in such a way that suffering could be mitigated, urging again that leaders emulate the examples of Jesus.
While urging public office holders to have a rethink, he urged the well-to-do in society to be their brother’s keeper by reaching out to them at this time of Christmas.

“May God continue to bless our land, and give us leaders who will bring happiness and joy across its states, cin Jesus name”, Ajadi prayed
